Job summary

Inspired Living at Alpharetta is seeking a dependable Med Tech to support residents with safe, compassionate, dignified care. You will manage medications, follow physician orders, and accurately document MARs and care notes.

You will observe residents' conditions, communicate changes to the clinical team and families as needed, assist with meals, supervise shifts, and maintain state certifications and ongoing education, always upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HHA certification or CNA license required.
• At least 1 year caregiving or similar experience.
• 6 months supervisory experience in a health-related field preferred/required.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to MARs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and personal care per resident plans and orders.
• Safely administer medications and document on MAR.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the clinical team and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA, safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with Med Techs and care team to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist with meals and maintain a welcoming dining environment.
• Provide direction to team members during shifts.
• Maintain state certifications, training and ongoing education.
• Identify opportunities to improve resident care and services.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for residents and teammates.

At Inspired Living at Alpharetta, our Med Techs play an important role in helping residents live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. We're looking for a dependable, compassionate team member who is ready to make a difference while supporting exceptional resident care.

What You'll Do

• Provide medication management and personal care according to each resident's service plan and physician orders.
• Safely administer medications and accurately follow the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
• Observe and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate clinical team members, families, and medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all medication, care, HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with other Med Techs and care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Assist with meals, including serving, clearing, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
• Support and provide direction to team members during assigned shifts as appropriate.
• Maintain all required state certifications, training, and ongoing education.
• Follow quality improvement standards and help identify opportunities to improve resident care and services.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and teammates.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of caregiving or similar experience.
• State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
