Nexus Family Recovery Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Medication Room Assistant to support the safe and accurate operation of the medication room. You will supervise client self-administration, monitor medical concerns, and coordinate care with providers and vendors.

The role emphasizes medication preparation, inventory control, documentation, and adherence to HIPAA and CFR 42. A fast-paced, structured environment with strong teamwork is essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical assistant, pharmacy technician, or related program preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or substance use treatment settings preferred.
• Familiarity with medication handling and inventory systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain client files per HHSC and Joint Commission requirements.
• Manage appointment schedules for medical providers and outside services.
• Order and replace supplies to maintain stock levels.
• Record client self-administration of medications in the e-Mar system and note misses.
• Assist with audits for quality monitoring and compliance.
• Coordinate with pharmacies, labs, and vendors.
