Job summary

Addington Place of Stuart in Florida is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for the Assisted Living department. This part-time role (7 AM–3 PM) supports medication administration, ADLs, and living activities per MAR/TAR and care plans.

You will work under supervision of LPN/LVN/RN and the Assisted Living Director, ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate charting, and compassionate resident care. Requirements include a high school diploma, current Med Tech certification per state rules, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ months of experience in senior living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• English proficiency to perform duties and communicate with staff.
• Basic computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per MAR/TAR and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide personal care and general nursing care, including ADLs, vital signs, and daily living activities.
• Verify and record narcotics with authorized personnel; report discrepancies.
• Order or restock medications, notify supervisor when supply is low, and verify pharmacy labels.
• Maintain proper storage for medications and ensure proper labeling and dating.
