Job summary

Qualifications

• MA Registered Pharmacy Technician with National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT).
• 1-3 years related work experience strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of brand and generic drug names and basic pharmacology.
• Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medication histories on all assigned patients during scheduled shifts.
• Interviews patients/caregivers to obtain dose and frequency of medications.
• Calls outpatient pharmacies or facilities to confirm regimens or investigate discrepancies.
