Job summary

Kennybrook Village in Grimes, IA is seeking a Life Services Coordinator - Caregiver to join Maggie's Place Memory Care. You will help residents maintain independence, assist with daily activities, prepare meals, and support social programs in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes memory care support, resident well-being, and collaboration with nursing staff. We offer benefits and a family-oriented workplace in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience with individuals with dementia
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a HS diploma or equivalent GED
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities per Resident Service Plans
• Monitor tenant changes in needs or health and report to the nurse
• Prepare meals, serve, and clean up; monitor food expiration dates
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and housekeeping within common areas
• Plan and engage residents in activities (spiritual, educational, games, music, exercise)
• Provide companionship and support to residents across memory care services
• Attend facility meetings and in-service trainings as assigned

The Life Services Coordinator is responsible for cultivating an environment that maximizes each resident’s independence.
