Job summary

Homestead of Chariton Memory Care in Iowa is seeking Medication Managers for full-time or part-time roles with 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am shifts. As a direct care team member handling medications, you will assist residents with daily living activities and support housekeeping, laundry, and mealtime service under the direction of the Executive Director.

Requirements include Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10‑hour course at hire; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match,

Qualifications

• Direct care and medication administration responsibilities.
• Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr course required on hire.
• Ability to perform housekeeping and laundry duties as part of patient support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents for activities of daily living.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course (if not held already) is required upon hire.
