Qualifications

• Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or ExCPT.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in health care, insurance, pharmacy, or medical background.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies.
• Acts as an expert with equipment and technology in the area.
• Troubleshoots technical issues in the specialized area.
• Maintains accurate records and timely documentation.
• Supports communication with patients and the care team.

• Complies with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Keeps knowledge up to date and collaborates with leadership to adopt best practices.
• Contributes to education of others and to pharmacy department initiatives.
• Accepts task assignments from other pharmacy teammates when workload dictates.
