Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to provide timely delivery of prescription orders and products to customers on a predetermined route, while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality. You will load deliveries, maintain vehicle, and ensure regulatory compliance as you support our long-term care facilities and home patients.

No professional driving experience is required, but applicants with limo/taxi or courier backgrounds are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Geographical knowledge of service area.
• Flexibility required Nights and Weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state for the vehicle’s operation.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.
• Customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription orders and products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule.
• Load products/materials and maintain the vehicle.
• Maintain compliance with all laws and regulations, including HIPAA, and protect patient confidentiality.
