Job summary

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (a Caldera Care facility) is seeking a Medication Assistant-Certified Endorsement role. You will ensure residents receive medications and treatments as ordered, coordinate with NACs, and follow infection control and safety policies.

This full-time daytime and evening position offers $28-$29 per hour DOE, health/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, tuition assistance, and opportunities for continued education within a warm, home-like facility.

Qualifications

• Active MACE licensure without enforcement action, or WA NAC with Skilled Nursing Facility experience (1000 hours in past calendar year).
• Current NAC certification and OBRA registry active.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and English proficiency.
• Ability to pass a background check with no disqualifying events.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as ordered per care plans.
• Directs NACs to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
• Adheres to infection control and safety policies.
• Completes charting in PCC before shift end.
• Completes required assessments as ordered by Supervising RN/RCM/DNS.

Pay Range: $28-$29 DOE

Shift: Day & Evening

Full Time Only

MA-C Responsibilities:

• Ensure assigned residents receive their medications and treatments as ordered in their respective care plans
• Directs NACs to ensure completion of assigned tasks
• Follows center's policies and policies related to infection control and safety
• Ensures timely completion of all charting is done in PCC daily before end of shift
• Completion of all assigned assessments as ordered from Supervising RN, RCM and/or DNS

Qualifications:

• Current active MACE national licensure without enforcement action against it OR active WA NAC and experience working in Skilled Nursing Facility; minimum of 1000 hours in the past calendar year REQUIRED
• Current NAC certification and active OBRA registry
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fast & adaptive problem-solving abilities
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
• First Aid & CPR certifications
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write English proficiently
• Ability to pass a background check with no disqualifying events
