Job summary

Regency on Whidbey, a retirement, assisted living and memory care community, is seeking caring individuals to join our team as a medication aide. This full-time position supports senior residents with daily well-being, medication assistance, and engaging activities, reporting to the wellness director.

Typical candidates have six months of senior caregiving or med-pass experience and may obtain CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass.
• CPR/BLS certification is recommended or obtainable.
• English proficiency for composing reports.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs.
• Maintain medication/treatment records and comply with guidelines.
• Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family to ensure timely medications.
• Store medications and keep the medication room clean and organized.
• Follow the resident service plan including ADLs and daily living activities.
• Demonstrate infection control procedures.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment for residents.
