Job summary

Sullivan Park Senior Living in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to accurately administer and document residents' medications, follow facility policies, and support ongoing quality improvement efforts.

You will collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and pharmacists to ensure resident safety, report and learn from medication incidents, complete required forms, and participate in audits and training to maintain compliance and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide with state-approved training and exam.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and procedures.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to measure and document vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Administer, document, and verify oral/topical medications per policy.
• Report medication errors and participate in QA and safety programs.
• Complete required forms, charts, and reports and submit as required.
• Maintain professional relations with nursing, physicians, pharmacists, and other staff.
• Follow labeling and drug-receipt procedures and ensure proper documentation.
