Job summary

Los Alamos Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Los Alamos, NM. The CMA works under the direct supervision of the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes, maintaining high-quality resident care.

Requirements include excellent English communication and current CMA certification; prior patient care experience is preferred. This is a full-time role with benefits such as Healthcare, Dental, Vision, PTO, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all meetings, trainings, and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Maintain current Certification for Medication Aide.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

A CMA is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
