Qualifications

• Must complete training on drug effects, medical terminology, and dosage basics.
• Active 40-hour Nebraska Assisted Living Medication Aide License required.
• Current CPR certification and yearly competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications accurately following facility policy.
• Chart medications in the appropriate system and records.
• Follow fourteen competency standards in medication administration.
• Assist residents with basic care and daily living activities.
• Respect residents' rights and dignity in all interactions.
