Job summary

CountryHouse in Elkhorn, NE is seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide for morning 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and overnight 10:00 PM–6:00 AM shifts. Join an EPIC team dedicated to excellence, compassion, and teamwork.

You will administer medications, document care, monitor residents, and support daily living activities while maintaining resident dignity. A Nebraska-certified 40-hour Medication Aide credential and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification valid in Nebraska.
• Compassion and patience when caring for older adults.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely according to physician orders and resident care plans.
• Document accurately in medication administration records and electronic systems.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and report promptly.
• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and support a positive shift environment.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure coordinated resident care.
