Parkview Estates in Kennewick, WA seeks a compassionate medication aide to assist residents with daily living, including personal care and medication administration. You will report to the wellness director and help maintain records, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with physicians and families to ensure timely medications.

Typical candidates bring six months of senior caregiving or med pass experience and can obtain CPR/BLS certification.

Formación

• Six months of senior caregiving or medication pass experience.
• CPR/BLS certification can be obtained.
• Reports are composed in English.

Responsabilidades

• Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs.
• Maintain medication and treatment records, comply with regulatory, OSHA, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family to assure medications are received promptly.
• Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.
