Job summary

Greentree Ridge Health & Rehab Center in Asheville, NC is seeking a Medication Aide to administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse. You will work within established nursing standards and facility policies.

Candidates must be in good standing on the state registry, complete the QMA competency program if required, and have or be pursuing a high school diploma. Basic computer skills and familiarity with EHR are needed.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the state medication aide registry.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program if your state requires.
• Must have or be currently enrolled in a high school program or hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various software programs, including EHR.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Operate within nursing standards and community policies and practices, and comply with state requirements.
