Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking a part-time CNA to support residents’ physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing, with per diem schedules available.

You will assist residents with activities of daily living, implement personalized care plans, participate in activities and programs, and collaborate with the clinical team to address needs promptly, including medication administration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working.
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medication Administration experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living.
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter.
• Administration of medication to residents.
