Job summary

Somerset Court of Mocksville is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to administer medications safely and monitor residents’ health. You will support the nursing team, maintain accurate records, and promote residents’ dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of healthcare experience, a valid Medication Aide certification, and CPR/First Aid may be preferred. A strong commitment to quality care and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Minimum of 1 year in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Medicate residents safely with accurate preparation, administration, and documentation per physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor residents' health status, vital signs, and report changes promptly to nursing staff.
• Engage residents with compassionate care and support participation in wellness activities.
• Maintain infection control and ensure organized, secure medication carts and records.
