Job summary

Experience Senior Living invites a Medication Assistant to join our team. You will provide medication reminders, assist with administration, and help manage medication orders in accordance with state guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining resident records, supporting care activities, and responding to resident requests with empathy. The role requires a High School Diploma, state medication certification, and ESL competency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medication certification as required by state guidelines.
• Must complete ESL medication competency on hire as required by state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and assist as per state regulations.
• Administer medications as allowed by state guidelines.
• Order and receive medication; ensure availability and communicate with pharmacy.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimal resident services.
• Maintain resident records in digital platform daily (medication, incidents, observations).
• Perform room visits and checks; assist with resident care when needed.
• Respond promptly to resident requests including emergencies.
• Monitor safety and well-being; report changes to health director or nurse on duty.
• Audit rooms for medications residents self-administer; ensure guideline compliance.
• Communicate with supervisor/peers to address resident issues.
