Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy. The role supports resident well-being through compassionate care and teamwork within the nursing department.

Ideal candidates will hold current certification as a Medication Aide or QMAP, maintain CPR/First Aid, and have experience in long-term care or assisted living.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Current certification as Medication Aide or QMAP per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Attends in-service training and maintains continuing education hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Administers routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy.
• Provides care including activities of daily living and assisting in nursing department.
• Collaborates with nursing staff, medical professionals, residents, and families to support residents' well-being.
