Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Medication Aide (QMA) at Autumn Care of Waynesville, a skilled nursing facility in Waynesville, NC. You will administer medications under a licensed nurse, while performing CNA duties and ensuring residents’ comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program if required by your state.
• High school diploma or GED or actively enrolled in a high school program.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.
• Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing.
• We can provide guidance to earn your GED.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician.
• Serve as a CNA and provide safe environment and emotional support.
• Attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort in a SNF setting.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and procedures.
