Job summary

Signature HealthCARE, LLC in Bremen, Indiana is seeking a Medication Aide to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and administering medications while ensuring safety and compliance with orders.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Medication Aide Certification and a Nursing Assistant Certification, along with a current CPR certification. We offer an exceptional benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and tuition reimbursement.

The salary range is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials and enhanced hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Medication Aide Certification and Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task is essential.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications safely and accurately.
• Ensure all medications have physician orders.
• Verify residents' identities before medication administration.
• Observe residents to ensure proper intake of medications.

How you will make a difference

• Ensure all medication has written orders, signed, and dated from a licensed physician
• Verify identity of residents before administering any medication
• Observe medication is ingested or applied as directed

What you need to make a difference

• Current Medication Aide Certification and Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task
