Job summary

The W Group in New York is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide for full-time or part-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime options.

You will distribute medications, maintain accurate records, and communicate with the pharmacy, residents and staff to ensure safe, respectful care.

Experience pouring medications and knowledge of assisted living policies are required; ALIS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience pouring medication.
• Knowledge of assisted living policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow directions and protocol after training.
• Knowledge of ALIS is a plus, not required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Distribute required medications

• Enriching the lives of residents by supporting them with patience and kindness

• Regular, ongoing communication with the pharmacy, families, residents assisted living and management staff

• Keep properly documented records of all distributed medication
