Job summary

Regency Village at Redmond is seeking a compassionate medication aide to support our senior residents with daily well-being, personal services, and medication assistance. You will report to the wellness director and collaborate with physicians and families to ensure timely medication delivery.

Typical candidates have six months of caregiving experience or med pass. CPR/BLS certification is preferred and English report writing is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in senior caregiving or medication pass.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable.
• Reports in English and clear documentation of care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Complete nursing treatments and monitor vital signs.
• Maintain accurate medication/treatment records and report changes.

Job description

As a medication aide, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, and social-recreational activities. You will report to the wellness director.

You Will

• Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs
• Maintain medication/treatment records, comply with regulatory, OSHA, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family as indicated to assure medications are received promptly
• Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

You Currently

• Typical candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass.
• Can obtain CPR/BLS certification
• Compose reports in English.
