Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
Accurately document medication administration and maintain resident records.
Observe residents for changes in condition or concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
Assist residents with daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
Jump in, lend a hand, and help create a community where residents feel at home.
Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification or equivalent based on state requirements.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in working with older adults.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
Dependability and a willingness to jump in and help when needed.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
