Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: accurately prepare, administer, and document medications per orders and company protocols.
• Storage, handling, and disposal of medications in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns to the nursing team promptly.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health status, behavior, and physical condition; measure vitals as needed.
• Assist with basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of licensed staff.
• Resident Engagement: build positive relationships with residents and encourage wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control procedures and maintain compliant medication carts and records.

Position Summary

The Medication Aide is responsible for the safe and accurate administration of medications to residents, monitoring their health status, and supporting the nursing team in maintaining residents' well-being. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Medication Administration:
  • Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns to the nursing team promptly.
• Health Monitoring:
