Job summary

Illuminus is hiring a Medication Administration Aide at St. Dominic Villa in Hazel Green, WI, offering full-time, part-time, evenings and PRN opportunities.

The role involves preparing and administering medications, assisting with ADLs, and maintaining accurate documentation under nursing staff supervision. Compensation ranges from $21.50–$24.00/hour depending on experience, with PM and NOC shift differentials, overtime, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Certification required.
• Certified by Wisconsin for medication administration. CBRF/AL training does not qualify.
• Maintained 100 hours as Med Admin Aide and 4 hours of med training per year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications under RN/LPN direction.
• Supervise resident self-administration or medication reminders.
• Access MAR to verify patient, drug, dose, route and time.
• Document vital signs, interventions, or other data related to medication administration.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting).
• May work as a CNA as needed.

Every day, Medication Administration Aides (MAAs) have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, fostering genuine connections and creating vibrant communities where seniors can thrive.

Candidates must already have (or be enrolled) in the additional Medication Administration Aide training required for working in a nursing home. CBRF/AL medication training does not qualify.

In this role, you will prepare, administer and record medications as directed and per policy, and assist with resident ADLs while maintaining accurate documentation, charting and adherence to company and HIPPA policies.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and administering medications to residents under the direction of RN/LPN.
• Supervising medication resident self-administration or performing medication reminders.
• Accessing Medication Administration Record (MAR) to verify the right person, drug, dose, route, and time against the resident’s record.
• Appropriately documenting vital signs, interventions, or other pertinent data related to medication administration.
• Maintaining resident confidentiality.
• Reporting any issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assisting residents with ADLs (Bathing, Dressing, Oral Hygiene, Toileting, Baths., etc.).
• Maintenance of accurate documentation, charting and adherence to company and HIPPA policies.
• May work as a CNA as needed.

Salary Description
