The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Medication Assistance Program Coordinator (MAPC) to help patients access medications by coordinating PMAPs and subsidies. The MAPC collaborates with patients and prescribers to secure free and discounted pharmaceuticals from manufacturer programs and state/local resources.

The position requires knowledge of PMAPs and insurance coverage, and involves documenting patient information, eligibility, and subsidy enrollments in our system.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinates patient access to medications necessary for treatment, regardless of ability to pay, for inpatients and outpatients.
• Works with patients and prescribers to obtain free and discounted pharmaceuticals and grant awards from PMAPs, non-profit assistance, and government programs.
• Maintains accurate PMAP information, patient data, and subsidy enrollment details in the database.
• Provides customers (patients and clinicians) with accurate, up-to-date information regarding PMAPs, disease-based assistance, and insurance eligibility.
