Job summary

Baptist Health seeks a skilled Medication Access Coordinator to join Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This full-time, day shift role involves coordinating prescription access, working with patients, staff, insurers, and vendors to maximize access to specialty medications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience, CPT/CPhT credentials, and knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and 340B operations. On-site role with weekend call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy and prior authorizations.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and patient assistance programs.
• Familiarity with 340B pharmacy operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and increase prescription access for Baptist Specialty Pharmacy.
• Serve as a triage point between medical staff, patients, billing, and insurers.
• Resolve medication fulfillment, prior authorization, and reimbursement issues to ensure timely access.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout medication access journey.
• Collaborate with providers and payers to optimize access outcomes and patient care.
• Develop and refine outreach strategies to improve patient engagement and program growth.
