Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey seeks a Manager of Reimbursement to serve as the system's expert on Medicare reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and cost reporting. You will own the preparation, review, and submission of Medicare and NJ cost reports and oversee related audits.

The role requires deep knowledge of acute care hospital reimbursement, NJ methodologies, and evolving federal/state rules. You will partner with Corporate Finance to optimize reimbursement outcomes and guide strategic

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of Reimbursement experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Cost Report, NJ Acute Care Reporting and other regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete data for Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reports and reimbursement surveys.
• Lead audit coordination with government intermediaries and analyze adjustments.
• Monitor and report on the impact of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reports for Operational Management using data insights.
• Implement new financial controls and supervise reimbursement systems administration.
