Job summary

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking a Business Consultant (Stars Outcomes) to drive Medicare Advantage Star initiatives from Baltimore. You’ll own 8–10 Star measures, develop project plans, and deliver executive dashboards while coordinating with analytics and provider relations.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder communication, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup in the Baltimore/Washington area.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Medicare Advantage Star Ratings and HEDIS.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and member experience.
• Excellent communication of complex ideas, verbal and written.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Significant experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Medicare Advantage Star Ratings.
• Lead governance for 8-10 Star measures and manage 25-35 interventions.
• Develop and track detailed project plans; monitor progress and remove barriers.
• Create weekly executive scorecards and dashboards.
• Collaborate with analytics to identify data gaps and drive improvements.
• Coordinate outreach and improve provider engagement in Stars work.
