Are you passionate about the Medicare population and seeking an opportunity in sales with the potential to directly impact your income? Do you excel at building trusting community relationships and exceeding expectations? If so, we are looking for licensed, motivated, and self-driven individuals to join our team.

In this field position, you will build community relationships, generate your own sales, and meet sales goals and metrics while working independently. Your interactions will include face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic engagements with Humana’s customers, external partners, and the community. Face-to-face activities may involve grassroots marketing, community events, and home visits.

Our Medicare Sales Field Agents sell individual health plans and educate beneficiaries about our services in a field setting. Additional products include Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and more.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to conduct daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members in the field
  • Active Health Insurance license or ability to obtain before start date
  • Proficiency with laptops, mobile apps, CRM tools, and sales/marketing resources
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance (100/300/100 limits), and a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; wireless, wired, or DSL connection
  • Approval for satellite, cellular, or microwave connections if used
  • For California, Illinois, Montana, South Dakota residents working from home: bi-weekly internet expense reimbursement
  • Dedicated, interruption-free workspace to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
  • Must reside within the assigned territory/county

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance licenses
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with TEAMS and PowerPoint
  • Community engagement experience
  • Experience selling Medicare products
  • Bilingual in English and another language
  • Public speaking and presentation skills

Additional Information:

  • Language proficiency assessment required for non-English speakers, administered by an external vendor, as per federal guidelines.
  • Applicants may need to provide their social security number during leader review for identity verification.

Schedule: Flexibility required for meetings that may occur evenings and weekends.

Training: Mandatory first 3-4 weeks of training.

Interview Process: We use HireVue for initial screening, involving a 5-10 minute recorded interview. Successful candidates will be contacted for next steps.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $31,800 - $43,800 annually, plus potential commissions based on performance and location.
