Are you passionate about the Medicare population and looking for an opportunity to work in sales with the ability to directly impact your income potential? Do you have a track record of building trusting relationships in the community and exceeding expectations? If so, we are seeking licensed, motivated, and self-driven individuals to join our team.

In this field position, you will build community relationships, drive self-generated sales, and meet sales goals and metrics while working independently. You will interact with Humana’s customers, external business partners, and the community through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic interactions. Face-to-face activities include grassroots marketing, community events, and home visits.Our Medicare Sales Field Agents sell individual health plans and educate beneficiaries about our services in a field setting. Additional products include Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and more.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to have daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members in the field
  • Active Health Insurance license or ability to obtain before start date
  • Experience with technology, including laptops, mobile apps, CRM tools, or sales/marketing resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits; Motor Vehicle Report required
  • Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; wired or wireless connection preferred
  • Home workspace free of ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
  • Must reside within the assigned territory/county

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance licenses
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with TEAMS, PowerPoint
  • Experience engaging with communities through service, organizations, or volunteerism
  • Experience selling Medicare products
  • Bilingual in English and another language
  • Public speaking and presentation experience

Additional Information:

  • Language proficiency assessments required for non-English speakers
  • Applicants may need to provide social security number for leader review via a secure process

Schedule: Flexibility required for evening and weekend appointments and events.

Training: Mandatory first 3-4 weeks of employment.

Interview Process: Using HireVue technology for initial screening. Selected candidates will receive a link for a 5-10 minute video interview.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $31,800 - $43,800 annually, plus potential commission based on performance.

This job is eligible for a performance-based incentive plan.
