Enhabit, Inc. is seeking a Reimbursement Coordinator I, Medicare to manage Medicare billing and claims submission. The role involves collecting payments, following up with insurance, and ensuring timely reimbursements. Location is Dallas-area but employee must reside where Enhabit operates.

The position emphasizes accuracy, communication with branches, and handling denial resolutions with a focus on timely payments. $18-$21/hr with full benefits and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have two years of experience with home health, hospice, or Medicare billing and collections.
• Home Health billing experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with computers, including advanced typing skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented with strong record-keeping.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete billing tasks daily.
• Monitor and maintain assigned accounts.
• Collect information to prepare Medicare claims.
• Submit clean Medicare claims electronically or on paper as required.
• Research, correct, and resubmit denied claims.
• Prepare appeals to denied claims.
• Communicate with branch staff about accounts and claims status.
• Assist leadership in tracking claims progress.
• Address questions from patients and staff in a timely manner.
• Resolve patient billing issues and AR delinquencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
