Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to support testing and delivery of healthcare applications. The role develops and executes test plans, conducts functional/regression/UI/data validation testing, and manages defects through resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
~5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or related discipline.
~Experience in Medicare or Health Insurance domain with knowledge of claims, member benefits, payor, and provider processes.
~Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and testing best practices.
~Hands-on experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
~Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Power Automate.
~UI testing and end-to-end workflow validation.
~Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend validation.
~Experience with Agile/test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
~Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and creating/managing test cases with user stories.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and data validation testing.
Manage defects through resolution.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure regression coverage.
