Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation seeks a reimbursement professional to manage Medicare/Medicaid functions across its hospitals. The role reports to the System Director of Reimbursement and covers one shift, eight hours per day, five days a week, with overtime and call-back as required.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting and 5+ years in Medicare auditing or reimbursement, preferably with hospital controller experience. CPA/MBA or professional certification is a plus.

Qualificações

• 5+ years experience in Medicare auditing or reimbursement in a multi-hospital environment.
• Hospital controller experience desirable.
• CPA, MBA or professional certification would be desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee preparation of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports for assigned hospitals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to Medicare/Medicaid audit requests and develop documentation to challenge findings.
• Develop appeals and reopenings of previously settled cost reports with documentation to meet filing deadlines.
• Serve as a system resource, communicating updates and providing training on Medicare/Medicaid rules.
