The position is onsite in Topeka, KS, requiring at least 2 years in health insurance claims operations and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid processes. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in health insurance claims operations, claims adjudication, or government program reimbursement.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and coordination of benefits.
• Excellent communication and data accuracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicates complex claims across multiple lines of business with focus on contract alignment and regulatory compliance.
• Manages Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement activities and verifies accuracy of claims.
• Conducts eligibility research and verification.
• Coordinates with government agencies and contractors to resolve claim and reimbursement issues.
• Responds to internal and external inquiries with clear, detailed information.
• Provides support and problem resolution across claims processing areas.
• Performs adjustments as necessary.
• Assists in identifying and correcting errors in the system and processes.
