Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a cost reporting specialist to prepare Medicare, Medicaid and Champus cost reports in accordance with federal and state regulations. You will ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with finance teams to meet deadlines.

The role requires at least 1 year of healthcare experience, a Bachelor's degree in Finance, and strong skills in Excel and reimbursement systems such as Compumax, Easy Work Papers and Lawson. CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance (minimum)
• 1 year experience in healthcare
• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares Medicare, Medicaid and Champus cost reports.
• Analyze proposed cost report adjustments and proposed reopenings.
• Demonstrates computer proficiency with all Reimbursement financial information systems including Compumax, Easy Work papers, Lawson, and Excel.
• Completes assigned goals
