Job summary

Martin's Point Health Care is seeking an Inside Sales Rep I to engage new prospects, educate them on Health Plan options, enroll eligible members, and uphold superior customer service. This role emphasizes relationship-building with members, brokers, and internal teams within a not-for-profit health system that serves Maine and beyond.

The position requires a High School diploma with 2+ years in sales or customer service, plus Life & Health Insurance Producer’s license and Medicare training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in sales/customer service required.
• State Life & Health Insurance Producer’s license required after hire.
• Medicare Sales Training and Certification with a passing grade required annually.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct sales of Health Plan products via phone, email, and walk-in to eligible beneficiaries.
• Delivers world-class customer service and builds relationships with potential members and partners.
• Maintains accurate information and documentation in all systems and databases.
• Manages sales opportunities in the pipeline and meets targets.
• Participates in process improvement projects and mentors new reps.
