Qualifications you’ll bring:

Associate's degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications or related field, or equivalent combination of education & related experience

  • Experience in positions where adherence to strict confidentiality is required
  • Licensure Requirement: NYS and CT Life Accidental Health Health (Insurance license is required within 4 weeks training period prior to selling)
  • Strong effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills, accountability and follow through
  • Flexibility to travel and attend off site assignments
  • Demonstrated time management and project planning skills
  • Must possess good problem-solving capabilities
  • Must be self-directed, confident and sensitive to the needs of Medicare eligible populations
  • A high level of personal integrity and the ability to represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Outlook, Word for Windows desired and basic data entry/typing skills
  • Knowledge of Excel (or comparable program) helpful

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare / health insurance experience

Call Center experience

Your key responsibilities:

Recruit attendance at group sales meetings

Respond to benefit inquiries and complete on-line enrollment applications for MVP Medicare prospects

Address prospect questions, including eligibility, benefit interpretation and cost sharing via inbound and outbound calls, walk-in contact and written correspondence/email

Assure understanding level of each prospect/enrollee by providing clear, complete and accurate information regarding assigned product benefits, policies and procedures

Qualify each prospect according to departmental and federal guidelines

Meet accessibility and quality goals, such as average speed of answer and abandonment rate

Document complete and accurate prospect records and process all appointments, registrations and requests for information in CRM

Meet individual and team membership goals. Follow company and federal sales and marketing guidelines in all interactions with prospects

Performs other duties as assigned
