Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. seeks an experienced researcher to design and deploy data analytics for Medicare policy and payment models.

The role focuses on developing statistical models using administrative claims and other data, with emphasis on pay-for-performance, episode-based bundles, and total-cost-of-care programs. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, translate regulations into technical specs, produce performance reports, and advance innovative approaches to value-based care.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in health policy or real-world analytics.
• Master's or doctoral degree in data analytics, public policy, economics, or related fields.
• Experience interpreting federal regulations and translating into requirements.
• Experience analyzing Medicare Part A, Part B, Part D data.
• Strong quantitative methods background with regression/time-series skills.
• Broad understanding of Medicare value-based care and APMs.
• Excellent written and oral communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage priorities.

Responsibilities
