Job summary

SCAN Health Insurance seeks a Medicare Compliance Project Manager to lead audit readiness and execution for CMS and other regulators. You will coordinate across business areas to ensure accurate, complete, and defensible audit materials and drive corrective actions to closure.

You will manage audit universes, respond to requests, and oversee CAP development and validation, ensuring adherence to regulatory expectations and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, auditing, regulatory affairs, risk management, project management, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience supporting audits, examinations, corrective action plans, or compliance oversight activities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting CMS Program Audits, Financial Audits, Validation Audits, or other regulatory reviews.
• Experience developing, tracking, validating, or monitoring corrective action plans (CAPs).
• Experience supporting compliance issue management, audit readiness, or regulatory response activities.
• Experience maintaining audit universes, evidence inventories, or regulatory documentation repositories.

Responsibilities

• Audit readiness support including documentation organization and evidence management.
• Maintain and validate audit universes for CMS expectations.
• Lead coordination of regulatory audits from intake to close.
• Compile and review audit documentation for clarity and regulatory alignment.
• Support development and tracking of CAPs with root-cause analysis.
• Track CAP activities through completion and remediation timelines.
• Lead internal validation to confirm corrective actions are effective.
• Assist in tracking potential regulatory issues identified in audits.
• Prepare audit status updates and materials for governance forums.
• Develop audit readiness dashboards and risk logs.
