Job summary

Tactile Medical, a provider of at-home therapy devices, seeks a Medicare Specialist in Minneapolis to ensure Medicare criteria are met for claim submissions. The role involves expediting paperwork between clinicians, patients, and internal teams to drive orders to closure, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Medicare methodologies (coding, coverage, criteria, payment).
• Experience with medical device reimbursement and payer processes.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and criteria to satisfy Medicare medical necessity.
• Expedite/liaise between Tactile Medical, clinicians, and patients to obtain paperwork.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure Medicare submissions.
• Maintain or exceed department service levels including turnaround time.
• Be a team player and assist others as needed.
• Champion continuous process improvement and seek efficiency gains.
• Contribute to monthly team meetings and 1:1s.
• Train new staff and handle product conversions and account support.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and perform other duties as assigned.
