Job summary

CVS Health in Hartford, CT is seeking an actuarial professional to join the Government Services Medicare Advantage pricing and analytics team. You will perform pricing and analytic work in support of Medicare bid filings and provide actionable insights to protect financial integrity and guide strategy.

The role requires 2+ years of actuarial experience, progress toward ASA, and strong analytical communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of actuarial experience.
• Progress toward Associateship in the Society of Actuaries (ASA), including at least two actuarial exams passed.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working with complex data and developing business insights.
• Ability to communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Medicare bid filing development, analysis, and submission activities.
• Compile and analyze filing data and prepare exhibits for regulatory filings.
• Develop and recommend pricing and trend assumptions for Medicare Advantage products and services.
• Provide technical support and analysis for planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Analyze financial results and communicate business impacts and recommendations.
• Translate data into actuarial assumptions and actionable business insights.
• Support ongoing evaluation and enhancement of pricing methodologies and business processes.
