Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an actuarial analyst to design systems and models that support actuarial policy and decision-making for Medicare Part D. You will develop and maintain models, data sources, and analytical tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions meeting actuarial and underwriting needs.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, strong Excel and SQL skills, and experience with BigQuery/SAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of job related experience.
• Expertise in Excel required.
• Expertise is Big Query, SAS, SQL or equivalent required.
• Analytical and model-building skills required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Designs systems to support actuarial functions.
• Delivers recommendations and implementation for actuarial policy and processes.
• Constructs risk management analysis to inform decision making.
• Develops and maintains models, data sources, and analytical tools used to support Medicare Part D Actuarial and Informatics.
• Collaborate and clearly communicate with various teams, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to design and deliver solutions that meet actuarial and underwriting needs.
• Organize and document code so that business logic is easy to locate, read, and update.
