Health & Wellness Partners, LLC (HWP) is seeking a Medical Writer to join our Scientific & Medical Services team in Upper Saddle River, NJ. The role focuses on transforming complex clinical data into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences, including manuscripts, slide decks, newsletters, posters, and digital materials, in collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 1+ years of medical or scientific writing experience preferred.
• Ability to develop high-quality medical content and translate complex science into clear materials.
• Experience in neurology, oncology, or cell & gene therapies preferred.
• Experience with manuscripts and poster development and submission preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Publication Practices and reference management software preferred.
• Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with literature databases.

Responsibilities

• Research topics, data, and therapies to develop content for slide decks, newsletters, manuscripts, posters, and digital content.
• Identify data sources and reference appropriately per guidelines.
• Stay current on therapies, diseases, literature, and trends in therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate with editorial, creative, account, and medical teams to finalize deliverables.
• Incorporate feedback from reviewers, including medical-legal as needed.
• Support advisory boards, surveys, and scientific tools as needed.
• Manage projects within timelines, scope, and budgets; escalate issues as needed.
• Provide guidance to junior medical writing and research staff.
