You will weigh incoming waste, recertify drums, count universal waste, and maintain accurate paperwork. The position is full-time, weekday shifts, with a 40-hour week and $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a labor-intensive, warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely and repeatedly.
• Comfortable working around medical and universal waste with PPE.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Weigh incoming medical waste containers using the weighbridge.
• Load and operate the autoclave and waste treatment equipment.
• Recertify 55-gallon drums for safe reuse.
• Count universal waste and add to manifests.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and handle drums throughout the shift.
• Follow written safety procedures and complete paperwork accurately.
• Spot and report issues with containers, paperwork, or equipment promptly.
• Work with teammates and supervisors to keep the plant running smoothly.
• Train others once proficient in tasks.
