Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a dependable Class B driver to support healthcare routes in the Richmond, VA area. This daytime role offers consistent hours, local routes, and meaningful work that supports hospitals and healthcare professionals every day.

You will collect and transport medical waste and sharps containers while delivering top-tier customer service at healthcare facilities along your route.

Qualifications

• Class B license with a clean driving record and valid medical card.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• A clean driving record and flexible, customer-focused attitude.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26 ft box trucks and DOT compliance knowledge.
• Proven longevity in past employment and on-time delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive relationships.
• Operating vehicles up to 26 ft box trucks in a safe manner.
• Delivering on schedule and communicating changes or challenges.
• Loading and unloading and organizing the truck per schedule.
• Managing a route under leadership direction and delivering timely service.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Heavy lifting.
