Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a dependable Class B driver to support healthcare routes in the Richmond, VA area. The role offers consistent daytime hours, local routes, and meaningful work serving hospitals and healthcare professionals.

The driver will collect and transport medical waste and sharps containers, operate box trucks up to 26’, and maintain DOT compliance while delivering excellent service. A sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B license or license with clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26’ box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.
• Operate company vehicles up to 26’ box trucks.
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service.
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain DOT logs and comply with roadside inspections.
