Job summary

Chubb Benefits is seeking a Medical Underwriting Relationship Manager to join our fast-paced, high-energy team. This role supports underwriting across U.S.

distribution channels for complex Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Disability and Life products, partnering with Group Underwriting, Operations, Sales, Claims and other business partners. The position emphasizes accuracy, detail, and timely issuance, requiring strong Microsoft Office skills, familiarity with 1099 sales

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of underwriting experience in Individual Life and/or Health products.
• Expert knowledge of medical terminology, medical conditions, pharmaceuticals and diagnostic testing.
• Experience in both individual and group underwriting is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting of complex Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Disability and Life cases across U.S. distribution channels.
• Partner with Sales, Group Underwriting, Operations and Claims to support Worksite and Signature Solutions products and client needs.
• Champion the Signature Solutions program with the Group Underwriting team when it is the best solution for a case or client.
• Coordinate with internal partners on system enhancements and process changes to support Worksite underwriting.
• Support DOI audit requests, including gathering information and assisting with responses.
• Manage and report daily, weekly and monthly metrics for Medical Underwriting.
• Collaborate with Operations on underwriting and business initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery.
